Dr. Meisch was serving as a 1st Lt in United States Marine Corps when he was in a motorcycle accident at Camp Pendleton in southern California. A friend suggested he see a chiropractor for his back injury. The results were so impressive that Dr. Meisch resigned his commission and started his journey to the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic.
After he got out of the Marines, he and his wife found out they were pregnant so Dr Meisch taught chemistry & science at a private military academy near Oceanside CA. where he lived, until their 2nd child was born.
Upon graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr Meisch & his wife (Rose) and 2 children moved to Dyersville, Iowa, where he has been practicing Chiropractic, on thousands of patients, for over 30 years.
Dr. Meisch does a multitude of techniques, is constantly learning new chiropractic skills. Dr Meisch has a unique skill set to include acupuncture. He is certified in Acupuncture. He is also on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to do DOT physicals
Rita has been an office manager for over 10 years. In that time she has seen about anything that comes up with insurance issues. She is also familiar with everything that happens in the office. Rita is on a first name basis with most insurance companies. Rita’s hobbies include traveling with her daughters and shopping.
